An evening with this 3rd generation father and son, piano and sax duo is guaranteed to warm your heart and spirits. Keeping the crooner spirit alive they deliver yesteryear classics from Nat King Cole to George Gershwin, Frank Sinatra to the Dave Brubeck Quartet.
Selections include film score titles like “Over the Rainbow” and “Moon River”, jazz cornerstones like “Take Five” and “My Funny Valentine”, and nostalgic beauties like “Misty” and “As time Goes By”.
Father and pianist, Hank Groman, has spent a lifetime collecting and polishing these gems since beginning his musical journey at age 4 in 1974, in his home town of Philadelphia.
Son and saxophonist, Timothy Groman, is a natural born jazz-cat who brings his own endearing interpretation to these timeless melodies.
